  1. Teacher-

“Uncle Robin? What are you doing?” Lucina asked, her head tilting to the side as she looked at the white haired man. A book sat in his lap and his crimson eyes had been scanning the page. He gave a smile to the three year old, that usual twinkle that was in his eye whenever the two talked.

“I’m reading an old book that I thought I had lost a while back. I found it this morning and decided to look through it again.” Robin answered. The princess blinked, frowning up at him.

“Reading?” She asked, confused as to what the word meant. Robin nodded and shifted the book so that she could take a look at it.

“Yeah, its words that people write down on pages to create a story or sometimes even to give information to other people. It’s a way to share things with others that you don’t know for years, even after you’re long gone.” He explained. Lucina’s eyes lit up as she looked at the pages, flipping them slowly as she examined the object. After several minutes, the princess looked up at the tactician with wide eyes.

“Will you teach me to read?” She asked and he gave her a small laugh.

“Sure thing little princess.”

  1. Sewing-

“Princess Lucina?” Robin asked, his eyes fixed on the blue haired child.

“Hmm?” She asked, only half listening to what her friend was saying.

“What are you doing?” He asked, a frowning curling his lips. The girl turned her head to look at him and she blinked once before a smile graced her face.

“I’m fixing your shirt. Mother has been teaching me how to sew the past couple of days. She says that you have lots of holes in your shirts and she’s been meaning to fix them. Same with fathers.” Lucina explained. Robin frowned deeper, vaguely remembering Sumia mentioning to him and Chrom that they both needed to have their shirts fixed a couple of weeks ago.

“Okay. But I don’t see what that has to do with you sitting on top of me while you’re sewing.” Robin said, watching the girl that was in fact sitting on his bare torso. He had gotten out of the bath about 20 minutes ago, starting to dress when he notice one vital piece of clothing was missing: his shirt. The three year old princess had snuck into his room and stolen his shirt, waiting for him to walk back into his room before pouncing, bringing the poor man crashing to the floor before she plopped herself down on top of his chest, his shirt in her small hands. She stared at him for a minute or two, blinking several times before a smile flashed on her face.

“Because it’s fun!” She said before turning back to her work.

As for Robin, he only groaned, slapping his forehead with his palm.

  1. Thunderstorm-

It was late at night in the Ylissean castle, most people had gone to bed about two or three hours ago. However, two people were still wide awake and not likely to go to sleep any time soon. Thunder was crackling outside of the blue haired princess’ window, freighting the small child. She clutched at her teddy bear, her father had given it to her for her second birthday, and she pulled at the sheets till they covered her head. She gave a yelp as an incredibly loud clap of thunder sounded, sending the princess running out of her room and down the hall way, her teddy bear held close to her chest. There was always one person that she knew stayed up late and that wouldn’t be mad at her for barging in during the storm. Sure, her parents would try and calm her down, but with Sumia pregnant with her and Chrom’s second child, she had gotten slightly scary and irritated at times. The little princess found the door that she had been looking for and gave a knock on the wood, shifting from foot to foot.

“It’s open, come on in.” A voice called out.

Lucina gave a small sigh of relief and pushed the door open. She hesitated a moment when she saw Robin sitting with his legs crossed on his bed, looking slightly scared himself. A clap of thunder outside made them both jump and sent the princess bolting into the room, the door slamming shut behind her. She climbed onto the tactician’s bed and sat herself down in his lap, clutching at his shirt as she tried to hide her face in it. He gave her a small smile, still a bit rattled from the thunder himself.

“Hello little princess.” He said, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tight.

“I got scared of the thunder. It’s really loud.” She muttered. There was silence for a moment as the two listened to the rain rapping against the window outside.

“Can I let you in on a little secret?” Robin said after a minute or two. The princess gave a nod. “I’m scared of thunder too.”

“What? You’re scared of thunder too, Uncle Robin?” Lucina asked, looking up at him in disbelief. He gave a nod and they both jumped at the sound of it outside. The stared at each other for a moment before bursting out laughing.

“Hehe! You jumped about a foot!” The blue haired girl giggled.

“Heh, I did, didn’t I? Well that’s alright. There’s no one in here but us chickens!”

  1. Nightmares-

“Uncle Robin?” A small voice asked. Lucina had one hand on the door knob, the other clutching her teddy bear as she poked her head into the room. Robin was sitting at his desk, looking over some papers when he heard the girl’s voice. He looked over to her and a small frown appeared on his face.

“Lucina?” He asked. “What’s wrong? Come on in.”

The princess did as he said, opening the door and entering the room. She waddled over to him and hung her head, clutching her bear close to her chest.

“I had a bad dream.” She muttered. Robin frowned and stood up, lifting the girl up into his arms and bringing her over to his bed so that they sat side by side.

“What happened in your dream?” he asked gently. She knew he would never get mad at her for disturbing him at night and for that she was extremely grateful for. She played with her teddy bear’s scarf as she began to tell him of her dream.

“And then daddy and you were eaten by the monster. I was left alone in a dark world. I was so scared.” Lucina finished, almost in tears as she looked at her feet. Robin was silent for a while before he gave a small sigh.

“Lucina. I promise you that you’re father and I won’t be eaten by monsters.” He finally said. She stared at the white haired man with wide eyes and her mouth slightly hanging open.

“Really?” She asked. He gave a nod and smiled at her.

“Of course. We’d beat the monsters up if they tried. Though I don’t think that monsters like the taste of humans. I’ve heard that they tend to stay away from us because we taste like broccoli and monsters hate eating their veggies.” He said. Lucina gave a laugh, wrinkling her nose at the mention of the awful food.

“I don’t like broccoli either. But I’m glad that they won’t eat you!” She said, smiling up at him.

“Me too! I still have a long life ahead of me!”

  1. Past self-

When Lucina and her friends had traveled back to the past, they knew that they would be seeing their parents younger self’s and of course the other shepherds as well. But when Lucina had seen Robin that first night that she had arrived, having helped saved her aunt and father from the risen, she had to restrain herself from crushing the white haired man in a hug. He looked so much younger than the last time she had seen him. In her time, the last time she had seen him, he looked old, tired and had worry lines in his face from the battles against the risen. That was before her father had died and Robin had disappeared. She had often wondered what had ever happened to her friend, her teacher and most importantly, her first crush. She had known that it was wrong of her to love him but she was just a small girl, not knowing any better. But here, in the past, they were the same age. It wouldn’t have mattered then, right?

“You saved my sister’s life.” Chrom was saying and her father’s voice was snapping the young woman out of her thoughts. Her eyes moved to look at the young prince as he spoke. “I’m Chrom, by the way. Might I know you’re name?”

“You may call me Marth.” Lucina found herself saying.

“Like the hero king?” Chrom asked and she gave a nod.

“Sorry, hero king?” Robin was asking, his head tilting to the side.

‘Of course. Father told me that Robin had lost his memories when they first met. I guess that I had just forgotten.’ Lucina thought to herself as Chrom gave a brief talk about the hero king of old. Lucina then gave them a warning of what was to come before running off into the woods, trying hard to keep her feelings from getting the best of her. Her parents were alive. Her friend’s parents were alive. And so was Robin. Her heart seemed to skip a beat at the thought of the young tactician and a small smile traced her lips. They were all alive and well.

Time passed and soon Lucina found herself fighting side by side with the shepherds, her mask having been left behind a while ago. They knew who she was now and knew that she was from the future. But she always seemed to be near Robin in battles, staying close to him and her father to make sure that neither one got hurt. Slight pain would always shoot threw her heart whenever she would see the white haired man talking to another woman, though why she no clue. That is, up until the day that he confessed that he had feelings for her. Finally she understood what the pain had meant. She had fallen in love with him, long before she had arrived in the past. After all, he was her friend, her teacher and someone that she could trust.

A small one shot that I wrote in order to cheer my cusion up. She's been feeling a little sad because her and her brother are going off to different colleges next year and they're really close. She asked me to write some M!mux Lucina and this is what came out. Not sure if I like that last one though or not.... Anyway, i'm tired, i'm gonna go sleep now. hope ya like it.
